Post Finished - Rogue (ACCEPTED)
Name: Finished
Class: Rogue
Armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... n=Finished
Spec: 51/18/2 Assassination
/Played?: 29 days
Professions: Leatherworking/Engineering
450 First Aid?: Yes
Briefly describe your play style, and why you chose your current spec: Deep assassination seems to offer the best single-target dps at the moment. I'm a big fan of the fact that it makes my rogue not entirely dependent on physical damage. The rotation is simple, so it gives me more time to watch the raid environment and boss abilities.

In order to help the raid be successful, would you be willing to respec? Sure.

Experience

How old are you?: 24
When did you start playing WoW?: March, 2005
What Pre-WotLK raid content have you sucessfully completed? In order of chronology - ZG, Ony, MC, BWL, AQ 20/40, Kara, SSC, Gruul

What raid content have you successfully completed thus far in WotLK? Naxx, EoE, OS, ToC

About you

How many hours per week do you play WoW? Well, I want to say not that many, but I probably end up spending 30-40 hours a week.

What time of day do you generally play? Usually after 3pm, til around 10pm

What other guilds have you been in and what were your reasons for leaving? Aequitas was my last guild, and it more or less disintegrated with a lot of officers quitting the game. Before that I was in TDL for a while, and CBH and Agents briefly in vanilla when TDL broke up the first time.

Are you able to farm for repair gold, guild materials, pots, and food during non-raid hours? Definitely.

Are you able to install and operate mods like Omen, and Deadly Boss Mods, as well as use TeamSpeak? Absolutely.

Would you consider yourself a leader in 5-man groups - marking targets, explaining encounters, and assigning responsibilities to group members? Or do you prefer a support role, and would rather listen to instructions? I usually try to lead when the group has very little experience. On my tank alt, I am probably more proactive, but as a dps, I usually let the tanks and healers do what's comfortable, unless it's getting us killed.

Are you willing to work with the guild’s class leaders to increase your overall raid performance? Yes, I'm always open to suggestions.

Do you currently, or are you willing to research your class role in an encounter prior to a scheduled raid? I always do, I check EJ forums and shadowpanther pretty frequently.

What are your raiding goals in WoW? In the end, I just want to see content. It would be sweet to kill the Lich King.

Hardware specs

The content this guild is currently raiding requires that all members of the raid have a stable internet connection, and be able to maintain an acceptable frame rate (10-15 FPS absolute minimum during heavy combat). Please list your:

CPU speed: 2.0 Ghz dual-core
System memory: 4 GB
Video card model and memory: GTX260M, 1GB DDR3
Connection type and speed: Cable, not sure about speed but it's usually pretty fast.

If you do not know how to find this information, here are some suggestions:

This method works on Vista and XP. In Vista, enter the command where it says 'Start Search'. In XP go to 'Start' and use 'Run'. Type in Dxdiag and hit 'Yes' if a window pops up. Using this tool you'll be able to see all the information you need here. Simply go to the 'Display' tab, to see your video card information.

For Mac, under the Apple Menu, go to 'About This Mac', click the More Info button to open System Profiler and look for the information there.

If you do not know what your connection is:
Go HERE for a test, pick a server as close to where you are as possible. If this doesn't work for you, go HERE instead. Post your result.
